John has extensive experience in the logistics
field and hands-on experience in the areas of
operational improvement and technology implementation.
His vision leading to the founding of CarrierPoint
came from his consulting work with shippers attempting
to improve their warehousing and logistics operations.
John noticed a gap between the sophisticated systems
that shippers had implemented and how they really
contracted for and obtained transportation services.
CarrierPoint's products and services work to close
this gap.
Before co-founding CarrierPoint, John worked
at Diamond Technology Partners in their technology
implementation practice and at The Summit Group
as a project manager of TMS implementations. John
has additional logistics-related experience through
his roles with FedEX, Fritz Companies, and Rocky
Mountain Helicopters.
John received his bachelor's degree from the
University of Utah and an MBA from Georgia State
University.
