Q. How long does it take to start
using the system?
Q. Our systems are currently not compatible
with the Internet. We do not have a budget large enough
to incorporate third party integration packages or consulting
fees. How does CarrierPoint handle integration between
systems?

is safe?
Q. How long does it take to start using the system?
A. Once you are approved, you can configure your preferences (including
regions/lanes of traffic covered) and begin using our
service immediately. For shippers, time to integrate
your TMS varies depending on which TMS you are using,
available integration resources and volume of shipments.
Shippers using a TMS that is not part of CarrierPoint's
Preferred Partner Program may require more time setting
up automatic feeds to CarrierPoint.

fees. How does CarrierPoint handle integration between
systems?
A. CarrierPoint realizes that companies such
as yours have developed substantial in-house IT expertise
over the years, and want to utilize these talents to
their fullest. As a result, we provide the Open Messaging
Systems InterfaceSM (OMSI) toolkit to assist in integration.
This toolkit provides several packages that can be used
to integrate with the CarrierPoint platform. All of
the packages provide a secure interface to CarrierPoint's
solutions, with full encryption, authentication and
guaranteed message delivery. OMSI packages can be implemented
and maintained by your IT personnel, even if they do
not have Internet development experience.

Q. How can I be certain my information is safe?
A. CarrierPoint has extensive experience in data, Internet and information-exchange
security. We use the latest encryption, certificate
and data connectivity methods to ensure information
within our service is secure. CarrierPoint has chosen
to partner with a world class ISP for the hosting and
maintenance of our database and web application servers
because of their unparalleled security. Additionally,
companies have control over what information users can
access.
