CarrierPoint Launches Carrier Affiliate Program
Program will Recognize and Reward Carriers
ATLANTA, GA, March 27, 2001 /CarrierPoint/
CarrierPoint(SM), Inc., a leading provider of Web-based logistics software solutions to the $154 billion less-than-truckload and full-truckload freight market, has launched its Carrier Affiliate Program. This program will recognize and reward carriers for their commitment to providing new shippers to the CarrierPoint network.
"Over time, we've noticed that when we sign on carriers, they tend to encourage their shippers to utilize CarrierPoint's software applications," said Brian Kinsey, chairman of the board for CarrierPoint. "We want to continue this upward trend and return benefits to each of our carriers for their dedication by offering them an incentive. Carriers will realize increased operating efficiencies by expanding the number of their customers utilizing CarrierPoint's software solutions. And now, they can receive direct compensation for it as well."
Carriers that refer a new shipper to the CarrierPoint network will receive referral payments for a year once a shipper becomes active with CarrierPoint. Two payment options have been developed for the carriers to choose from - a percentage of the shipper's billings to be paid in a monthly check to the carrier or a percentage of the shipper's billings used as a credit towards the carrier's CarrierPoint billings.

"CarrierPoint's Web-based solutions are the way of the future, and those shippers and carriers who participate will reap substantial financial benefits, increase profits and enhance business opportunities." City Express Trucking has been a CarrierPoint customer for the past 8 months.
CarrierPoint will launch a variety of incentive programs this year for shippers and carriers who are subscribers to its software applications.
