INVESTOR INFORMATION
A first round of funding resulted in raising $1.3 million
in November of 1999. CarrierPoint's first-round investors included,
iXL Enterprises (Nasdaq: IIXL), CyberLab Ventures, William E. Simon
& Sons, and individual members of Deutche Bank Alex Brown's management
team.
A second round of funding totaling $21.9 million
closed in May 2000 with investment from Credit Suisse
First Boston Affiliate Sprout Group, the venture capital
affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (NYSE:DLJ),
and the UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund. First-round investors
CyberLab Ventures and William E. Simon & Sons also participated
in the funding, along with several individual investors,
including company management.

CYBERLAB VENTURES, INC. - Formed in early 1999 to service
Internet startups in the US, Latin America and Europe, CyberLab
Ventures incubates high-potential seed and early-stage Internet
technology companies.
CSFB AFFILIATE SPROUT GROUP - Since its founding
in 1969, the CSFB Affiliate Sprout Group has helped
finance more than 300 companies with combined sales
exceeding $40 billion. With offices in Menlo Park, New
York, and Chicago, Sprout focuses on helping to grow
technology companies in communications, e-commerce and
e-healthcare. It stands today as one of the oldest and
largest venture capital firms in the US.
UPS STRATEGIC ENTERPRISE FUND - Established in 1997, the
UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund seeks to invest in new companies that
are strategically relevant to its business. The Fund seeks to gain
insights into new markets, innovative business models and emerging
technologies.
WILLIAM E. SIMON & SONS - William E. Simon & Sons is a private
investment firm and merchant bank founded by former United States
Secretary of the Treasury William E. Simon and his sons, William
